Twenty-two people who'd rather over-explain than over-promise.
The company started in 2004 as two carpenters with one truck. We still frame our own work, and the founders still walk every site.
Portland's housing stock is old, charming, and full of shortcuts taken by the last five owners. Half of what we do is discovery: opening a wall, finding knob-and-tube or a joist someone notched through, and telling you about it the same day with a price attached.
What we won't do
We don't bid work we can't schedule, and we don't quote from photos. If a project isn't a fit — too small, too far, or better served by a specialist — we'll say so on the phone and point you somewhere useful.
Standards we hold
- One lead carpenter per project, on site daily.
- Written change orders before any extra work begins.
- Site swept and secured every Friday.
- Two-year workmanship warranty in addition to manufacturer coverage.
